What About Food? Film and Dialogue Series

What About Food? Film and Dialogue Series brings films about topics related to the food system to Detroit. Following each film community members join experts from the field for a discussion about how the topics relate to local food systems and food security in Detroit communities.

Milk

Join the DFPC and our partners, Ecology Center and Black Mothers Breastfeeding Association to view a documentary about birth and breastfeeding around the globe. Through an intimate and artistic lens, Milk brings a universal perspective on the politics, commercialization and controversies surrounding birth and infant feeding over the canvas of stunningly beautiful visuals and poignant voices from around the globe. Inspiring, informative, provocative and sensitive, Milk celebrates brining a new life into this world with a strong call to action and reflection.
