The Golden Beet Awards is our annual fundraiser, and proceeds from the event will fund DFPC’s work in education, engagement, research, policy and youth programming. The evening will include a strolling dinner, award ceremony, and live music from Detroit’s own JukeBoxx Inc. The VIP ticket also includes the Eastside Eats Innovation Tour hosted by the Green Grocer Project, free parking for the event, and a VIP reception after the tour. By purchasing a ticket for the Golden Beet Awards you will also receive a one year membership to our Friends of the Detroit Food Policy Council.

Eastside Eats Innovation Tour September 22, 1-4 pm
Hosted by the Green Grocer Project
Join us for a tour of grocery stores, processors, gardens, and restaurants hosted by the Green Grocer Project. VIP ticket holders will be picked up and dropped off at the Julian C. Madison Building (pick up for the tour is at 12:45). Enjoy free parking for both events. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a reception at DFPC office between the tour and Golden Beet Awards, and early entry to the event.
